Know your speed before the call drops.

Measure ping, download, and upload speed from a small panel beside the page you’re browsing, then see what your connection can support.

Three measurements, always in the same order

One click starts the run. Each stage advances on its own, and nothing from an earlier run is left on screen.

01ms

Ping

A request to the test server and back. The round trip, in milliseconds, is your latency.

02Mbps

Download

Fifteen seconds of parallel downloads. The final value is the average of the live readings.

03Mbps

Upload

Fifteen seconds of parallel uploads, measured the same way. Results appear when the run is complete.

Numbers are nice. “Good for video calls” is useful.

After the run, everyday activities are checked against minimum download and upload speeds. It is a threshold check, not a score or a prediction.

ActivityMin downMin up
Video conferencing5 Mbps3 Mbps
Voice conferencing1 Mbps1 Mbps
Web browsing5 Mbps0.5 Mbps
File sharing100 Mbps10 Mbps

Both values must meet the minimum. Mbps thresholds are inclusive.

You decide when it shows up

Disable everywhere

A switch in the toolbar popup turns the widget off on every site until you turn it back on.

No account required

Run a test, read the result, and close the panel.

Clear readings

Live readings are labelled live; final values are 15-second averages. If a server cannot be reached, the result reports that instead.

Test your connection from any tab.

Open the panel from your browser toolbar and start a connection test.
